Community Guidelines

Core Principles

• Consent: Every interaction requires clear, enthusiastic, and ongoing consent.
• Respect: Treat people with dignity. Honor boundaries and identities.
• Safety: Use tools like block and report. Avoid pressuring or manipulating others.
• Inclusion: No hate or discrimination. This is a space for diverse ENM experiences.

Child Safety

ChoozIM has a zero-tolerance policy for any activity that endangers or exploits children. This platform is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. Protecting minors is our highest priority.

• No Minors Allowed: Individuals under the age of 18 are strictly prohibited from using ChoozIM. Any profile suspected of belonging to a minor will be immediately removed.
• Prohibited Content: Any content that depicts, promotes, or implies the sexualization, abuse, or exploitation of minors is illegal and strictly forbidden. This includes Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), grooming, or any sexual communication with minors.
• Reporting Violations: If you encounter any profile, image, or conversation that you suspect involves a minor or violates our child safety policy, you must report it immediately using the in-app reporting tools. Such reports are treated with the utmost urgency.

Consent & Boundaries

• Never assume consent. Ask first. Accept “no” without debate or guilt.
• Do not pressure for photos, meetups, or contact outside the app.
• Respect relationship agreements disclosed by others.
• Non‑consensual sharing of private content is prohibited.

Profiles & Media

• Be honest about who you are. No impersonation or fake profiles.
• Only upload content you own or have permission to share.
• All media must be lawful, consensual, and feature adults only (18+).
• Use privacy flags and visibility controls appropriately. Respect others’ privacy settings.

Messaging & Interactions

• Open with respect. No harassment, slurs, or threats.
• No spam, scams, or solicitation (commercial or otherwise).
• Stop messaging if someone declines or stops responding.
• Do not share private conversations or personal information without consent.

Safety & Reporting

• Use Block to control who can contact you.
• Use Report to alert moderators to violations or safety concerns. If you suspect a profile or content involves a minor, report it immediately.
• Leave situations that feel unsafe. Your comfort comes first.
• When meeting, consider public places and share plans with a trusted friend.

Moderation & Enforcement

• We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these guidelines.
• Violations of our Child Safety policy will result in an immediate and permanent ban, and we will report the activity to law enforcement, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as required by law.
• Other enforcement actions can include warnings, temporary limits, or permanent removal.
• We may act on credible reports even if violations occur off‑platform at related events.

Age‑Restricted Content

• ChoozIM is for adults 18+ only. Minors are not permitted.
• Any content involving minors (including past or implied) is strictly forbidden.
• Do not request or share age‑verification documents through chat.

Privacy & Data

We value your privacy. Review our Privacy Policy for how data is collected and used, and visit Settings to manage notifications and visibility.

Clubs & Events Conduct

• Follow host rules and respect venue staff and attendees.
• Obtain explicit consent for photos or tagging at events.
• Substance use must comply with local laws and venue policies.

What’s Not Allowed

• Any content or conduct that violates our Child Safety policy. This is a zero-tolerance issue.
• Harassment, hate speech, or discrimination.
• Violence, threats, or exploitation.
• Non‑consensual content or sharing private material without permission.
• Illegal activity, scams, impersonation, or doxxing.

Violations may lead to content removal and account restrictions up to permanent removal.
